Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken



A flavorful and keto-friendly recipe for skillet-roasted lemon chicken featuring juicy chicken breasts seasoned with fragrant herbs and roasted with fresh lemon for a zesty twist.

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons, halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

Put oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper on chicken breasts

Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat

Place the chicken breasts on the pan with the skin side down

Sear for about 5 minutes, or until they are golden brown

Put the chicken breasts on the other side and add the lemon halves and minced garlic to the pan

Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated

Roast the chicken for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and the juices run clear

Serve the chicken hot and top it with roasted lemon halves
