Creamsicle Cookies

Enjoy the delightful combination of orange zest, white chocolate, and dried cranberries in these Creamsicle Cookies. They're a perfect blend of tangy and sweet, reminiscent of the classic creamsicle flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • teaspoon salt
  • cup white chocolate chips
  • cup dried cranberries

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet

Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy

Add the egg, vanilla extract, and orange zest and beat until everything is well mixed

Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a different bowl

Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms

The dried cranberries and white chocolate chips should be mixed in

Place tablespoon-sized chunks of dough about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet that has been prepared

Use the back of a spoon to slightly flatten each piece of dough

Take the cookies out of the oven and heat it up

Bake them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown

After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way
